The Bible has been rewritten and translated so much that making any sense of it is

difficult, but in a search of the Revised Standard Edition for the word 'seal' on

www.bibleontheweb.com I found some interesting clues which may refer to Planetary or Moon seals rather than seals found on this planet.  There seem to be seven.

Job 9

5 he who removes mountains, and they know it not, when he overturns them in his anger; 6 who shakes the earth out of its place, and its pillars tremble; 7 who commands the sun, and it does not rise; who seals up the stars; 8 who alone stretched out the heavens, and trampled the waves of the sea; 9 who made the Bear and Orion, the Plei'ades and the chambers of the south; 10 who does great things beyond understanding, and marvelous things without number.

Job 38 (Page 474 of 1189)

1 Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind: 2 "Who is this that darkens counsel by words without knowledge? 3 Gird up your loins like a man, I will question you, and you shall declare to me. 4 "Where were you when I laid the foundation of the earth? Tell me, if you have understanding. 5 Who determined its measurements--surely you know! Or who stretched the line upon it? 6 On what were its bases sunk, or who laid its cornerstone, 7 when the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy? 8 "Or who shut in the sea with doors, when it burst forth from the womb; 9 when I made clouds its garment, and thick darkness its swaddling band, 10 and prescribed bounds for it, and set bars and doors, 11 and said, 'Thus far shall you come, and no farther, and here shall your proud waves be stayed'?

12 "Have you commanded the morning since your days began, and caused the dawn to know its place, 13 that it might take hold of the skirts of the earth, and the wicked be shaken out of it? 14 It is changed like clay under the seal, and it is dyed like a garment. 15 From the wicked their light is withheld, and their uplifted arm is broken. 16 "Have you entered into the springs of the sea, or walked in the recesses of the deep? 17 Have the gates of death been revealed to you, or have you seen the gates of deep darkness? 18 Have you comprehended the expanse of the earth? Declare, if you know all this. 19 "Where is the way to the dwelling of light, and where is the place of darkness, 20 that you may take it to its territory and that you may discern the paths to its home? 21 You know, for you were born then, and the number of your days is great! 22 "Have you entered the storehouses of the snow, or have you seen the storehouses of the hail, 23 which I have reserved for the time of trouble, for the day of battle and war? 24 What is the way to the place where the light is distributed, or where the east wind is scattered upon the earth? 25 "Who has cleft a channel for the torrents of rain, and a way for the thunderbolt, 26 to bring rain on a land where no man is, on the desert in which there is no man; 27 to satisfy the waste and desolate land, and to make the ground put forth grass? 28 "Has the rain a father, or who has begotten the drops of dew? 29 From whose womb did the ice come forth, and who has given birth to the hoarfrost of heaven? 30 The waters become hard like stone, and the face of the deep is frozen. 31 "Can you bind the chains of the Plei'ades, or loose the cords of Orion? 32 Can you lead forth the Maz'zaroth in their season, or can you guide the Bear with its children?

33 Do you know the ordinances of the heavens? Can you establish their rule on the earth? 34

"Can you lift up your voice to the clouds, that a flood of waters may cover you? 35 Can you send forth lightnings, that they may go and say to you, 'Here we are'? 36 Who has put wisdom in the clouds, or given understanding to the mists? 37 Who can number the clouds by wisdom?

Or who can tilt the waterskins of the heavens, 38 when the dust runs into a mass and the clods cleave fast together? 39 "Can you hunt the prey for the lion, or satisfy the appetite of the young lions, 40 when they crouch in their dens, or lie in wait in their covert? 41

Who provides for the raven its prey, when its young ones cry to God, and wander about for lack of food?

 Jeremiah 32:14 - 'Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: Take these deeds, both this sealed deed of purchase and this open deed, and put them in an earthenware vessel, that they may last for a long time.

 Daniel 6:17 - And a stone was brought and laid upon the mouth of the den, and the king sealed it with his own signet and with the signet of his lords, that nothing might be

changed concerning Daniel.  

 Daniel 8:26 - The vision of the evenings and the mornings which has been told is true; but seal up the vision, for it pertains to many days hence."  

 Daniel 9:24 - "Seventy weeks of years are decreed concerning your people and your holy city, to finish the transgression, to put an end to sin, and to atone for iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal both vision and prophet, and to anoint a most holy

place.  

 Daniel 12:4 - But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, until the time of the end. Many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase."  

 Daniel 12:9 - He said, "Go your way, Daniel, for the words are shut up and sealed until the time of the end.  

 Matthew 27:66 - So they went and made the sepulchre secure by sealing the stone and setting a guard.   *

 John 3:33 - he who receives his testimony sets his seal to this, that God is true.  

Revelation 6:1 - Now I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seven seals, and I heard one of the four living creatures say, as with a voice of thunder, "Come!"  

 Revelation 6:3 - When he opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature say, "Come!"  

Revelation 6:5 - When he opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say,

"Come!" And I saw, and behold, a black horse, and its rider had a balance in his hand;  

 Revelation 6:7 - When he opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living

creature say, "Come!"  

 Revelation 6:9 - When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those

who had been slain for the word of God and for the witness they had borne;  

 Revelation 6:12 - When he opened the sixth seal, I looked, and behold, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth, the full moon became like blood,  

 Revelation 7:2 - Then I saw another angel ascend from the rising of the sun, with the seal of the living God, and he called with a loud voice to the four angels who had been given

power to harm earth and sea,  

 Revelation 7:3 - saying, "Do not harm the earth or the sea or the trees, till we have

sealed the servants of our God upon their foreheads."  

 Revelation 7:4 - And I heard the number of the sealed, a hundred and forty-four thousand sealed, out of every tribe of the sons of Israel,  

 Revelation 7:5 - twelve thousand sealed out of the tribe of Judah, twelve thousand of the tribe of Reuben, twelve thousand of the tribe of Gad,  

 Revelation 7:8 - twelve thousand of the tribe of Zeb'ulun, twelve thousand of the tribe of

Joseph, twelve thousand sealed out of the tribe of Benjamin.  

 Revelation 8:1 - When the Lamb opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour.  

 Revelation 9:4 - they were told not to harm the grass of the earth or any green growth or any tree, but only those of mankind who have not the seal of God upon their foreheads;  

Revelation 10:4 - And when the seven thunders had sounded, I was about to write, but I heard a voice from heaven saying, "Seal up what the seven thunders have said, and do not

write it down."  

 Revelation 20:3 - [Regarding a powerful evil one] and threw him into the pit, and shut it

and sealed it over him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years

were ended. After that he must be loosed for a little while.  

 Revelation 22:10 - And he said to me, "Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this

book, for the time is near.
